The price of the service was higher than I was expecting to pay.
The issue was not repaired.
Always get my oil changed at the same place for years.
I prefer to have my car serviced at the dealer because they give me competitive prices and a loaner car as well.
I was out of state - or I would have returned to Tire Choice!
I got an oil change. Within 1 month the oil light came on and started leaking oil. When I returned to the shop; I was told we no longer do oil changes or any of the work that your car needs due to oil leak. I went to another shop and they showed me some pink stuff that this shop used on my car doing that oil change. I ended up having to pay thousands of dollars to get new oil pan and fix damages from the oil leak. I will never return to that shop again and will encourage others not to go there due to the shady practices/people there.
Just a little pricey and wait time
He sold me 3 tires and two days later one burst on the highway and they wouldn’t accommodate me and the other one had a huge bubble in it
The service is great, just not needed the service yet.
Price
Went to dealership instead
I’m going through a hardship.
I was satisfied I would go again.
Nothing
Location I don’t live in the state
The technicians removed two of our tires to look for leaks. when they did this, they damaged the beads and tried to seal it with bead sealer, which did not work and looked terrible. They techs or the manager didn't even notify us they had a problem and sent my wife back out on the road with tires that could have possibly blown and caused her to have an accident. The tires had to be replaced. I called corporate and made a claim and I was told I still had to pay for the replacement tires. They required me to use my roadside hazard warranty. These were new tires and I had to spend over $200 to replace them. This damage was the fault of the company; everyone knew it and would not take care of the problem.
I found better deals at Discount Tire
My car required a recall, had to take it to the Ford dealer. I don't drive my car often, will be scheduling an oil change soon with Tire Choice.
Being told a product they replaced wasn't the issue, when in fact it was. The bolts were not tightened after the job, almost causing my passenger tire to come off. Had it fixed for free at another shop because they put the safety of myself and child before money.
My brakes
My car leaked oil after I got an oil change here. I returned and they fixed it, but it just wasn’t a great experience.
I went in for a tire rotation and balance. They bounced the tires fine, but they didn’t rotate the back tires to the front front to the back. It was a simple tire rotation. I marked the rims and when I was getting ready to leave, I realized that it was not done. I can explain more later.
Out of my area. moved
The service requested was not performed, and then my car was returned as if it was. Time to not perform the service was to long.
They never have an answer just drop your car off even for an oil change with an appointment you can't wait
Just couldn’t get an appointment I could go to
I was only coming to Tire Choice for tires not regular maintenance. I have a prepaid plan for the life of my car
Rotors needed replacing in both vehicles when supposedly brakes were being checked at every oil change. And I was expected to pay for them.
There is no tire choice in texas.
Regular service that I have done at the dealer
I haven’t needed a new tire. An employee also tried to replace the wrong tire, after being told several times what my maintenance person sent me in for.
Did not need to change oil. Also switched apartments which is farther away.
The price
cheaper at other locations
The wait time.
Pricing
just haven't gotten around to it.
Bad prior experience
My boyfriend brought his Kia there and the Marshall Rd Tirechoice is fixed the wrong part that was not leaking oil making the oil come out faster down below. He called and wrote a letter to the Main office and they never got back with him to settle the issue.
I did return i just had you guys put a serpentine belt on it
Had to take to a DMV certified location for repairs for passing smog check
office moved, used to be closer to work
Team members didn't seem knowledgeable, and I felt as if they were just trying to sell me things.
Price of service, and online reviews saying service had declined under new management
They. Had my ready for one hour and didn't tell me I was in the office waiting. When I talked to him about it he was super rude. Saying he has no Cristal ball. Never more
Price
Don’t need service at the moment.
Prices being equivalent to taking it to dealer
I haven't needed more tires - I needed work done at a mini cooper dealership. Engine mount broke.
Due to when I picked my truck up it was after hours due to my work schedule I had to drive home with little to no brakes after spending over 2000$ I couldn’t believe that they would do it right the second time if they couldn’t do it the first time
Didn’t accept warranty claim
Better price/deal on oil change (only service needed since) elsewhere.
On my initial visit I was told the fee for the diagnosis would be deducted from the service fee if I got the necessary repairs there, but it was not. I noticed this right after payment when looking at the receipt that I was not shown prior and addressed it with the manager there. On my next visit a month later the fee had still not been removed or added as any type of service credit and I was informed that manager moved to the St Rose location and was told that I should contact him there. No one saught to make this right. I even filed a dispute with the card company(I was approved for a SunAuto card and that dispute was denied. Also on that secondary visit I was told I needed repairs and a flood flush that another shop showed proof that I did not need by showing me the test strip used to check for this. I refuse to ever go back to Sun Auto because of this experience of unsavory business practices. Hopefully that extra 200 for that initial service is worth losing possible thousands in future patronage.
Found a place that offered the same oil change service for cheaper, also I moved farther away
I tried to schedule an appointment and was unable to. I tried to schedule online and it wouldn't go through so then we even drove by the location and it was closed. It almost appeared as if it was out of business but then I noticed weeks later that it was open when I drove by one day. I'm not sure what happened there but it made me feel like I needed to find a new place to service my vehicle.
I came in for a tire rotation and you guys broke my TPI sensor. I notified the front desk and they never fixed it & ignored my request for a replacement.
Work performed without approval
Convenience and cost.
Prices
I own an EV now and I also don’t work next door anymore
Tires were still out of balance after
They stop doing Vehicle State inspections
There are no Tire Choice locations near us.
Price too high
Found a mechanic closer to home that also specializes in diesel engines
I went to tire choice for work on my tires and have not needed any further work on my tires.
When the oil needed to be changed, I took it to the nearest place (out of town)
Car running great
Honestly, I can't afford much at the moment.
Price
When my tire was changed on all 4 of my tires where changed my tire pressure light wasn’t on then I had to come back cause it came on and I was told that all the tire pressure was going to be changed and it was going to cost $400.00 when you guys did something for this to happen
Services performed were not done correctly therefore, needed same/more services to performed less than 2-3 weeks later
Nothing
I am able to do most maintenance myself.
I did not feel a could trust their recommendations regarding repairs.
Too far, unclear if the value is there
Good deal for oil change elsewhere
I asked them to check my front driver tire because it was leaking down very slowly and to rotate my tires when they changed my oil. They said they rotated tires and did not find a leak. 2 weeks later my front driver tire was low again. So they did not rotate the tires like they told me they did so why should I believe they changed the oil like they told me and charged me for. Lost trust in them.
Dishonesty on part of either the tech or owner. Said it was time for a tune-up of $600. I said I'd have to think about it first. I left and not long afterward the car started rpm gauge started fluctuating. I took it to another car repairman and found out the sensor connection was lying on the engine not plugged in. The repairman said it had to be unplugged. Once it was plugged back in, my problem disappeared and so did my business to this company!
The store is a complete mess. I waited so long for my car when I had an appointment scheduled. One employee walking around in house shoes with all his kids there. It seems there friends hang out there.
I’m not understanding why I’m getting this. I have only used Tire Choice for the last 15 years. I never bring my car anywhere else. I just bought my daughter four new tires last week at Tire Choice.
The service I paid for was shotty. Bolts to the stabilizer arm were not reinstalled and somehow missed during the four-wheel alignment. It took two weeks of complaining before I took it to another mechanic.
I moved
Go there for tires. Haven't needed any yet
Out of work
They put the wrong tires on my car
I purchased tires from Sams Club due to the cost was cheaper and they included 5 year road hazard and lifetime rotation.
You guy didn't fix it correctly. The control are was coming off.
Pricing
The sales associate was not knowledgeable in what he was selling and provided contradictory information
I was out of town
Charging me over $100 for an oil change. I asked for the normal oil and they put in the expensive stuff. When I went to pick it up they said they put in the expensive stuff and they made me wait forever.
Nothing
no reason
Cost/ turnover of workers
Didn't like the manager. Poor customer service skills. He should have been working in a warehouse where he didn't have to communicate with the public. Wish I could remember his name.
service not needed
dealership service
Bad customer service
did not get a coupon for service
Very rude. Did not give a shit of what I needed to get done.
Cost
Didn't need any more work done
My appointment made online was not found at the store once I arrived.
Wait time too long & overpriced. Scheduling appointment was useless.
location
I called your Monroe Ave shop and apparently connected with a call center. I was given a quick appointment as requested. When I arrived at Tire Center on Monroe I was told that the call center "doesn't know what they are doing" and no time or parts were available (headlight). I was pissed off and told him they lost a customer
The service could not be done. No employees were working.
N/a
Did return and was satisfied
They wouldn't honor a coupon that was good and has not expired
Price little high

Attitude of manager
Pricing was high.
Price to high
Negative energy upon requesting a repair of a tire
see below
I found better deals and they get the job dome faster.
I moved to NC and the closest shop affiliated with the same parent company is too far away.
I moved to Virginia and found a independent shop there to meet my needs.
I was sold a tire sensor that was faulty and never worked. I later learned you cant replace just one that they are like Christmas lights when one goes they all go. So 154$ down the drain
Free service from dealer
Price
The work was WAY too expensive and they quoted me on work that did t need to be done. My brothers a mechanic and checked the pictues

I made an appointment and fully intended to return and the appointment was confirmed by email, but when i got there at the time of appointment the business was closed with no explanation . Waited 15 minutes until after posted opening hours and nobody ever came so i went elsewhere
I go to my dealer
Price and convenience
I moved far far away!
Taking to long to finish my car with a morning appointment
I requested a certain year tire and was promised I would get it but that did not happen. The technician also tried to sell me on a service stating I had to have it when in fact I didn't. They tried to scare me into getting it when I turned them down. Will not return because of this.
Haven’t done a change since
I went to a different tire company who had better deal on tires.
Tire Choice was not convenient and I didn't think they could handle the kind of repairs I needed
The new manager was very rude, I had an appointment set and upon arrival was told that the services I needed it and had set the appointment for could not be performed. He could not give me a reasonable explanation as to why, and it was the normal Services. I had always gotten over the years from Tire Choice so I decided to take my business elsewhere.
Closer locations have closed
I have typically only used Tire Choice for tires. I have used other places for routine maintenance like oil changes.
The staff changed. The young lady that worked there was so helpful.
Distance from home
I moved away from the Tire Choice I previously lived near.
I was a long time customer and bought several sets of tires for both my personal vehicles and my company truck. I had a puncture on a tire that I purchased 4000 miles earlier and and I bought the road warranty coverage. When I went to have repaired they informed me the tire needed to be replaced, the cost of the replacement was almost what I paid for the tire originally, I then asked the sales representative if there were any deal on 4 new tires, he just blew me off with a no deals. I felt like as a loyal customer I was totally disrespected and he just didn’t care about trying to find a solution. I haven’t been back since.
Closer auto shop
Only the wait time
I received a really good deal from the dealer for service
Cost
I paid for a front end alignment. I did not receive a front end alignment. I brought it back several times and the issue was not corrected, then I was sent to several different persons at corporate for a refund which I was told I would get- but never received.
I returned for replacement of parts bought on a lifetime replacement warranty and was told that the company has never had a lifetime replacement on parts ... by the same man that convinced me to buy those parts under a lifetime replacement warranty!
Not convenient
At the time, I couldn't afford the repairs
You do tires and that’s all I would go to you for. I need a quick lube place for other service or a real dealer for big stuff
Just haven’t had time
Took to dealership
Price
I haven't needed tires yet.
Convenience
Laziness, I still need to get my car brought in
I moved to another state.
Only an oil change has been performed and I had a coupon for a different business at that time
I came back?
nothing
Failure to do an alignment.
Price
I found cheaper services
I have another shop that I typically use for repair.
Not transparent pricing. Store manager said will offer a great deal on Honda Crv's oil change. Came out to be over 100usd. charged for a special filter fee, never heard of Honda having a special filter. It is not a Euro car.
I went to my regular mechanic
Proving with Tire choice is a bit too high
Well I don't know where to start maybe it's from making an appointment online to arriving to tire choice location just be told that I do not have an appointment and then from there you don't have the tires that I need and you put a different tire on instead of two I paid $250 for one tire I needed to not just one I can go on but I'll stop there.
Price + didn’t get the same great deals as former owners
I was not sure if Tire Choice could perform the service that was needed
I went for a tire replacement and it ended up with an hour long inspection and an estimate for $800
Moved.
Better deals elsewhere
Service took an extended period of time and wasnt performed in timeframe that I was given. Others were completed before mine.
I had a coupon for my local Toyota dealership, so I went there.
Price
moved, and no availability of tire choice near me, even since the last time I visited. unsure if tire choice can handle the type of repair needed. expected price to be more expensive than the mechanic I used after visiting tire choice
I plan to return, great staff, super friendly. Just waiting for finances to be right.
Had appointment and still didn't get started for 30 minutes.
My vehicle is fine
They didn’t even do an oil change
Price was different than advertised.
Nothing. All good
I moved away
I haven’t gotten the new repairs yet
I haven’t had a need for what’s offered at Tire Choice.
I moved.
went to Tirechoice because i had a Groupon
Poor service quality
Location
OK
Price of Battery was $50+ higher than other supplier
To be honest, I got oil change closer to my residence and did not have time to come to tire choice.
Oil was not fully synthetic and changed again at dealer
I live 1,300 miles away.
Can't afford it
Will return, vehicle needed to go to dealer for update
No incident nor event required to return since the last visit.
Moved away
Cheaper at other locations
scheduling was to far at

I have no come back because my vehicle has been fine
The new tire exploded on the highway

The need to take it to the dealership due to VW newer vehicles needing to be programmed.
I simply relocated

I did not feel valued. I was simply a number.
I feel I was overcharged for services.
The price of an oil change went up at my tire choice
I don't feel like the work was done with quality. Also said I needed more work, but got another opinion and it was not needed. Went to the dealership after and they had to torque the shocks struts because they were not torqued to the right spec
The manager was really demeaning towards his workers, he acted like they were all dumb and he was so smart. Old guy with beard
haven’t made time to come back yet.
The other place has more offers, free drinks, and clean bathrooms
Moved areas and other options were cheaper
It was just most affordable elsewhere buying used tires.
I will return
The tires I wanted were not obtainable through tire choice.
I cant remember. My son in law recommended your company
My tire popped
No need
I only go for tire service, and haven’t needed any
Overcharged by service manager.
I had a discount for Sparks Toyota, so I went there.
Damaged wheels and a tire that cannot hold a balance
No money
Was listed that they had hours on Sunday and made an online appointment only to have it canceled and notified that they are not open that day
A little expensive but good service
I went to my regular mechanic for service.
Going to car dealership

I use Tire Choice for tires. I have 4 vehicles. For one vehicle you didn't carry the tires we wanted so ordered them through Costxo.
Highly unknowledgeable technicians.
Toi high price.
The price and the reviews online
The staff were not friendly, over charged me, and did not do the vehicle inspection that came with my oil change. I felt frustrated and voiced that to them but they were not friendly and not helpful
They tried to tell me a part that had recently been replace was bad and needed replacing.
I went there because it would have been much longer to wait for my dealership rotate my tires. Since then, I’ve been more proactive about setting appointments earlier.
Unless it’s for an oil change, I always leave there with the feeling I might have been overcharged. Like somehow they got me to spend more money than I had to…that I don’t have.
The parts needed to service my car were not in stock and had to be ordered. The dealership was able to get the parts that same day.
I had a Groupon but still got charged
Neglect of needed work
The other place was closer to my house.
Had a deal at another shop
Condescending front desk personnel, unfriendly and rude
Don’t need the service again. Just needed an oil change.
Price
I made an appointment and when I got to the location they said they were too busy and that I would have to reschedule the appointment with NO apology.
Overcharged and not acknowledged in a professional way. I was charged for 4 of an item, when I only got 2. The difference was about $60 when I called about it, they said it would be checked on, and someone would call me back. 3 days later I call to check, and was told it was fixed. How would I even know this? And BTW, it was the service manager who made the mistake and he never acknowledged it, or apologized! Not acceptable. Service receipts should be double checked!
Nothing 10/10 service
manager claimed I needed new tires when I was there just for an oil change. He said I failed the quarter test. I know I didnt because i checked my tires before I went there. He lost my trust. He was very pushy and in my opinion rude.
They broke a part on my car. While they all talked about it in front of me. And rushed to order the damage part and charged me for it. Previous to me taking my car to tire choice I router my car checked out by a mechanic.
Oil cap was not put back on causing oil to leak out of vehicle. Tires were not rotated but paid for. Requested to get a refund and i was told to bring it back in with very little oil in the vehicle. Oil was all over engine compartment. No compensation for any of these issues.
Did not do the work properly
Do not like the team's lack of care.
Too far
Price
Horrible service, service took too long.
Needed more extensive service
Just the price
Just convience to use another provider
Chose to take the vehicle to a dealership.
I needed routine maintenance and it was covered by the dealer.
Service was good but I utilize other repair shops.
Distance. Tire Choice was the only company who could order the tires I needed. I have not needed tires since then.
The mechanic operated on the wrong side of my vehicle. I had to drive to work for a meeting in N. Charleston from McClellanville. This is an hour long drive. My wheel bearings started acting up and my car was all over the road. This was very scary for me and others trying to drive around me. I had to go to Gerald’s to get it fixed so I wouldn’t kill myself and others on the road. I called the manager and they didn’t even care. I will never return.
Location
I had an emergent problem that I had to have taken care of while at work. I liked the people, but have a regular service station near my home that I use regularly.
Honestly the price was a lot more compared to other repair services nearby
Price
The Manager left the front unattended because he has to make a bank deposit.
Horrible service
Money problems
My front end started making a noise after installation. Tire Choice did not understand, identify or resolve the problem. I'm not sure about Tire Choice performing oil changes and installing parts like headlights. I have had a bad experience with oil filters that are not from the dealership/ OEM related to leaks.
Sales pressure and I don’t feel the vehicle was properly serviced
They could not figure out why my car kept stopping and turning off after having the car for 2 days, but the dealer figured out within an hour (it was a fuse I believe)
recent management changes.
TRUST AND RECOMENDATIONS AND FASTER SERVICE ON OTHER SHOP
Overpriced for quick services.
Front desk staff could not figure out coupon
The person who could work on my brand of cars quit, so they did not have anyone who could service my car.
I might return eventually. In the interim, I found another resource that takes care of automobile.
Alignment was not fixed, they couldn’t find the wrong. It was the gear box. Ford e250.
There was someone new working and it was very chaotic
Your shop stole my spare tire. Stole a B. F. Goodrich tire and swapped it for one of my crappy tires I was getting replaced. You did this before with a different name on the store, years ago.
I purchased 4 tires that were not in stock and paid for them, so that they would be delivered and they could be installed the next day. The next day. The manager says the tires could not be found. They had already charged my card, so I demanded a refund, but that refund almost took 6 weeks. I ended up buying the 4 tires at Dicount Tires and they have been the best tire experience I have had in my 38 years of driving.
customer service was awful
I came in for an oil change and it took two hours before they finished. The next time I scheduled an appointment they had no one there to complete the oil change and said I had to wait an hour for someone to come in. There were multiple issues in the past but kept going because they were a convenient location, but these back to back issues caused me to not want to return.
The location has no staff available to service my vehicle
The oil changes are fast and done right
I really like my local Tire Choice and consider them a good option. The last repair and maintenance events I have been able to address myself without mechanic service.
I moved to a new city and my bf had it serviced at a place he took it
Customer service horrible
nothing happened bad
Price
Other less costly options
I 100% trust Mike the manage there at the location on 9th St and 5th Ave. Unfortunately, when the car needed repairs, it was up in Tallahassee with my college asge son at FSU. Despite that, we still utilized a Tire Choice location in Tallahassee.
cost of service
Manager used very foul language during my visit. It was very rude and inappropriate and my Wife was with me in the waiting area.
I go somewhere else for my oil & filter. I didn’t think Tire Choice did that
Was something that I preferred to be handled by a Ford dealership.
Lack of funds
Cost
The last service, to replace a tire was fine. The service before that I thought I was told only very expensive tires were available.
Bought new tires elsewhere.
ever since Richard left North battlefield store your store has gone downhill and I haven’t been back there since. The store has been very poor run the last time I was there I needed my tires rotated. I marked them and they told me they rotated them and they did not because I had them marked. That’s the last time I ever will do business with your company.
Overall lack of communication
Nothing
Got an alignment done, but my car still pulls slightly to one side.
WHAT NEEDED DONE WAS SOMETHING THAT YOU DO NOT OFFER AS A SERVICE. IT'S NOT AN INDICTMENT OF YOUR COMPANY.
Someone else took my car to be serviced, as I have been having medical issues and am not able to drive
Proximity
Tech did not see honest
Location
Was work covered under warranty at the dealership
I use to work in Tracy and lived there recently moved to modesto
The tires that I was told were good quality didn't last even a year.
Bait and switch, was quoted one price on the phone and told another when I came in.
Terrible customer service at the store desk. Made online appt but denied that upon arrival. Denied warranty. Disputed HQ validation of warranty.
Prices
Just have not had to go there..found a friend who works on cars now
quick oil change was all that was needed
Nothing, there wrere no issues
I needed a new tire.
Sometimes its price. Having different service techs each time is hard to build trust.
The service needed was not a type provided by Tire Choice.
I received a promotion from another shop for the oil change needed
Poor quality of work. This location no longer has experienced mechanics that are able to perform quality, reliable service
Employee at the counter indicated that I needed a service at a cost of $860, that was not true. I will never return to this location.
Availability
Long waiting time. Had to bring my car back because they didn’t rotate the tires and never told me
The service I requested at my last appointment was not completed. I asked for an oil change and tire rotation and, although I made an appointment and the vehicle was there for more than 4 hours, the tire rotation was not done. I was going in a long trip and wanted the tires rotated before I left. I was told that the rotation would be done the next time — this was after the truck was there much of the day.
Stopped receiving maintenance incentives. Constant mgt and employee turnover. Leaving my vehicle interior and exterior oil stained, rims & exterior body scratched / damaged. Scheduling my vehicle while waiting and store not abiding by the appointment and taking longer than allotted time Shop appears to be a mess and often most employees front and shop aren’t customer friendly. I have bought several repair packages and have to prove what i’ve payed for each time I make an appointment/ schedule my vehicle which is beyond frustrating. Lack of appreciation for being a loyal customer for decades The computer system from years ago and now had several discrepancies which thankfully I had copies of my maintenance repair contract. Which initially they did not want to honor due to change of management or ownership whatever was convenient for them
Less desirable quality of service performed for an alignment. Had to wait an extra hour due to service provider coming to the shop after my appointment time
Distance
The time i gotta get it dun you could not fit me in as a ownerq opporater my Window is short & you all not have the time that had to fit me in
They gave me a list of things I needed for my car, which came to a total of $1500. They included a new battery (which I just purchased from NAPA 3 weeks prior), new tires, which were just 2 years old, and several other things. I took my car to the auto parts store immediately after and tested the battery which was in perfect condition and the tires were not even close to needing to be replaced. There was no one else at the store and the nearby auto shop was packed. I suspect the Bay Village Tire Choice is a fraudulent business and people noticed.
Available times
Car was under warranty with dealership.
Warranty with previous company
We moved, and my sister started dating a guy who works on cars as a hobby.
Not applicable
Poor customer service inexperienced techs
Moved out of state . Found a different one closer
High price
rude, employees and not honoring my Groupon coupon says I had to pay more for my oil change.
Location is inconvenient
The staff.
Na
There have been a few. 1) paid $120 to have air conditioner charged, still did not work. 2) Made an appointment two weeks ahead to get my car inspected. When I arrived, they told me they don't do inspections.
Very long wait time
Time constraints
I had to take my vehicle to the dealership and was told the air filter in the car had never been changed and I have had that service supposedly performed at tire choice
The personnel changed and they are not as welcoming as the previous employees
I know they one time acted like they didn't know about emissions exempt for mileage.
Customer service and mechanic know how
You would no longer change my oil and filter on my vehicle with oil and filter I purchased. Because of this snub, I no longer have my vehicle serviced there -,tires, brakes, etc.
It was overpriced compared to competitors, and there was nothing positive that set them apart/made me want to return.
The tire choice closest to me closed permanently.
It would have been nice to been able to schedule online. Every time I called, the lady on the phone was hard to understand.
I have moved about a 35-minute drive away
Price
I needed new tires and had shopped around for the best available deal at the time. I found a great deal for Goodyear tires through a factory-authorized Goodyear tire installer.
Availability
I was recommended using someone else for the specific service I needed.
I was able to replace car battery on my own.
Dealer offered coupon that put overall service cost lower than TireChoice
Warranty repair
Price was comparable to dealership, dealer provides more information
That shop is a mess. The lady they hired for up front is a hot mess and then the guys in the shop told me I needed new tires (the ones I had literally had less than 10k miles on them at the time) and put a screw in the treading to make it seem like it was stuck in the tire. They were losing money and wanted me to spend unnecessary money with them. I will never go back.
Nothing
Great service - Great People - No Issues with that. Have a company that does my oil change for $80 total costs, fully synthetic oil, and they come to me. (Maxi)
the location is not convenient for me.
I returned. Not sure of the question.
The mechanics and manager who had been servicing all of my vehicles were suddenly not there anymore and I wanted to do business with them, not necessarily with Tire Choice, but rather the people that I trusted for 7 years at that location.
The low quality of service. At every turn there was a sale being pushed on me. The shop was dirty and the lobby wasn't much better. The employees in the back were loud and playing while they were supposed to be working.
Tire choice has moved out of the area.
Bad experience.
I got new tires. One tire was returned with a valve stem that was too small. It is impossible to even check the pressure. The manager said it must have come in that way and would not fix the problem. I ended up buying a valve extender just so I can check pressure. Because he refused to fix the problem he created I have chosen to take my vehicle elsewhere.
Price
Walked in, waited, no one came into shop.
I found better deal on oil change, with free tire rotation.
Manager is rude every time. I don’t have to deal with someone with that disposition
I needed a tire fix. The first Tire Choice I went to said they couldn’t do it and the I went to another one and they were rude and then I waited only to find out they were not able to do it either because they did not have the correct plug for the tire
Too busy
The original location I would go to was shut down and the other locations I have gone to had employees that don't seem to be very professional.
Na
I had the feeling they were trying to pull something over on me. That's why I didn't get all the repairs done there
Service not needed yet
The information that I received from an advisor about benefits of my tire purchase
Too high of prices

Nothing negative about Tire Choice just prefer the 2 on 1 experience of a sole proprietor

Too far away
Every time I made an appointment, they ignored the scheduled time. I was put in line behind everyone else. A scheduled oil change took 2 hours while I waited. New tires were not at shop after I dropped off the vehicle which delayed pickup almost 8 hours.
Other location was closer to work.
Distance. I moved
No location near me anymore
A friend had opened a shop of their own and I became their client.
I did the work myself to save money
A technician failed my car for inspection over a small nick in my windshield that met under legal parameters. I was able to get it inspected elsewhere without replacing the windshield. The technician was trying to squeeze thousands for a repair that was not necessary or affordable in this economy.
Location/ was out of town for needed service since coming to Mr. Tire. will definitely come back in future
I scheduled a front end alignment appointment for 8:30am and I was told we can maybe get to this today.
When service centers try to charge me for a dirty air filter change by pulling out a dirty one they have on standby, I do not return. $20 for the part, $50 for the labor of something that take 5 mins at autozone. I know they are trying to take advantage of a woman that may not know better. Try someone else.
Everything was great customer service was excellent but the part i needed to replace was very expensive
I have not needed anything related to tires and to my knowledge, the location I went to does not do oil changes
Distance from service center
Have free oil changes w/dealer
I was completely ignored for ten minutes when I came into the shop. There was somebody at the desk on a computer and he completely and totally ignored me.
I was out of town at the time.
Price
I had a great experience, and would gladly return, however I live out of state and was visiting family at the time. If I am in town again with my car, I would happily return
Price point
I didn't need new tires
Got new tires cheaper at Sam’s club
It wasn't tire related, I didn't think it was an appropriate repair for your shop
It was very expensive.
Location wasn't close
Just found somewhere cheaper
The store provides limited services. Some work they cannot do.
Moved out of state
The coupon was not honored
Distance away from home
Not good sked online
oh, I did return. Just the other day I needed an estimate on my car, and spoke to Bill, who sent me to Scotty at the other garage on 70.
Honestly I just forget about them as an option for repairs
Too pricey
Moved out of the area; otherwise, would use again.
Nothing. It was simply more convenient for me to be serviced at the dealership. When shopping for tires again I will consider Mr. Tire though.
The service manager and technician were dishonest about repairs required. They were instructed to return the vehicle to me and a 2nd trusted service shop verified the repairs were not necessary. Your technician tried to have me replace the oil pan due to a drain plug being rounded off, which is easily fixed.
Horrible made my car worst or didn’t do the job right
Haven’t needed tires
They charged more than the coupon, and they told me something was wrong with the car and that was not true because I took it for a second opinion paid for diagnostic at the actual dealership and nothing was found
Price too high
Prices too high compared to other locations
I purchased the tires from there
Have not needed a major service that I couldn’t do myself
My new place provides detailed breakdowns of the work they do with pictures of each step
Nothing - I just have not had come back yet
I bought my tires at Mr Tire. I don’t get my oil changed there because I like being able to walk in at jiffy lube or Valvoline without an appointment.
I did not need to change my tires since the last service
Having to drop it off to get serviced instead of waiting like I used to be able to do.
The Mr. Tire is now a Mavis- had a bad experience with old regional manager at Mr Tire over brake service.
Distance from home.
Better pricing elsewhere
I moved away and there are no Mr. Tires near me
I went to Mr Tore to purchase tires. I really didn’t know they offered other services
Nothing, it was a tire repair that I had done
opt for dealer service
Timing of when I needed service
Good experience, very helpful just no longer live there
Inconvenience of having to leave car. I live alone, so it's difficult to find rides.
They told me that a headlight change would be $95 and when I asked for the breakdown of the bill, they changed the cost to $45. I know the bulb costs $7, and even with labor (the mechanic told me it’s a 10 min job), that would not have justified the price. They tried to scam me, and the person who did was the manager at the time. I had the same type of lightbulb changed there before (break light for a Honda Fit 2013, for around $40). Awful experience! Will not go back.
I was able to purchase a long term service plan with the dealer that seemed like a good deal
Very poor service.
Service manager was ranting about his personal life and ex wife in the waiting area. It made me uncomfortable.
Iwent into the Old Bridge (Route 9) store looking to buy 4 tires. I had seen a "special" online. When I went in, instead of having the Service Advisor help, it was the cashier that assited me. I told her what I wanted and she quoted me a price $600 more than the "special". When I referenced the online special, she stated she knew nothing about that, in a dismisve tone. I didn't cae for that treatment and stated I was leaving. This must have caught the S.A. attention because he came running out of his office. At that point I was done and left. If he was available to hear the conversation-why wasn't he able to assist me instead of the dedicated cashier? I'm done with Mr. Tire of Old Bridge.
The workers were acting unprofessional and making inappropriate noises in the garage and everyone sitting in the waiting area were all getting as agitated as I was and taking too long to do the services.

Took my suv to another location
Don't need tires yet
Not sure if I can depend on the service I receive. I was given the wrong tires which seem to have caused ongoing damage to my vehicle.
Inconsistent
I moved
Being able to access services, several staffing changes at the location I attend, lack of overall confidence in service delivery
Location wasn’t convenient at the time
I have had very good e periences with Mr Tire and have no reason not to return. I have had discounts at other places and had the work done elsewhere.
They cracked my oil pan which led to my car having to be taking to the dealership to be repaired
I will never use Mr Tire or any of your sister companies. The poor service and customer service I received is the kind of thing that should be shouted from the rooftops and passed from generation to generation
The wrong tire was put on my car
Had an appointment for an oil change. Showed up on time. Took 2 hours to get my vehicle back. Customers that came after me with NO appointment for their vehicle back before me. One of the customers that came after me didn't have an appointment bought 4 new tires and had an alignment was done before me. Just to note, all the customers that came after me and were helped before me were white and I'm not. This has happened multiple times at this location. I will never go back there again!
I went to a place that I trust more.
I was passing through town and do not live there.
Customer service was not great.
Difficult to schedule appointment online
The area I live is farther away, I used to work down the road from Mr. Tire now I work remote
They took the wrong tire off to fix the flat. Made up a “fix” they did and then yelled at me when I showed them the bolt still in the other tire. Also tried charging my $1200 for a spring repair that was not needed. I went to my mechanic that day and he said they are perfectly fine.
I had an excellent experience from the most recent visit. There was no issue at all. However, in the past, I had a bad experience at the same store, which was about 2 years ago.(2024) The customer representative's attitude was arrogant and not professional. I received the impression that he was hired right off the street. As a result, I was going to other places for 2 years. I think that Mr. Tire's pricing is pretty competitive and decent. Its location is also convenient for many of us. However, the degree of professionalism of the front desk staff helps us decide whether to go shop at Mr. Tires or not.
most repairs or service were diy
I was waiting about 45 minutes for my car to go into the garage for oil change. When I asked the guy at the register when it would be taken in he said "I dont know" he made no attempt to see when. I canceled and left. I was assuming they were under new ownership and the new employees were not very good.
It wasn't my personal experience, it was my relatives experience. Having to go back multiple times to attempt to solve an issue and continuously charging, wasn't good service. This family member finally went elsewhere and the problem was solved.
I have not had an issue that I could not handle myself. If something I cannot do myself, I will probably return to Mr. Tire. I have had good experiences there.
Final charge was different that discussed up front.
Oil filter
oil leak. Needed it towed somewhere close
I was able to do the maintenance by myself.
Rarely drive. Got tires when we were there.
I had an easier experience with Costco
To much upselling on unnecessary repairs
Using a Honda dealer
Not sure
It was a part that was put back on during the oil change that was not put back on correctly.
Price, convenience, location.

Not the first place I think of to fix my car
The wait time was extremely to long and lack of worker.
The location where I was going to on Warren Road in Cockeysville no longer has mechanics, they only do tires now.
I didn't enjoy mr tire.
I needed a more specific service
Convenience of appointment with my schedule.
Felt ripped off and I had to return to have my brakes looked at due to white smoke appearing.
Scheduled an appointment for an oil change & when I returned for another oil change they mentioned the lug nuts were too tight and broke them offf leaving me with an oil pan leak. However they were the ones who serviced it prior & tightened them

Decided to go to dealership for service

Things has been still going good so far with my vehicle
They broke a bolt then charged me over $300 for a new one. Also, they overcharged me for the work
The hood latch was broken when they closed it after topping off fluids as a courtesy during tire change. Didn’t know until two days later when my car wouldn’t turn over 5 hours away in a Walmart parking lot, leaving me stranded for almost an hour waiting for family come help pry it open.
It was cheaper at Sam’s Club
My car needed service not provided by Mr.
Not in the area
Financial issues
I needed 4 tires. Made an appointment for early morning. I called several times to inquire if it was ready for pick up. At 4 pm I went to the store and was upset that others had been taken prior and my car was still not ready. Why make an appointment?
Rep tried talking me out of a tire rotation. I also had a hard time getting through on the phone on a previous visit. I was told that they're too busy to answer the phone. The shop was also dirty and unkempt. I lost confidence in the professionalism of the location.
Prices for the task at hand
Fast at getting the car serviced pertty much was in and out.
I have returned they did an amazing job on my vehicle I highly recommend anyone to come to them
Proximity only, otherwise would return when in the area
I would definitely return.
Pricing
Just overall a bad experience. Tried working on the car without my permission and tricked me.
I specifically needed tires, so I went to Mr. Tire.
Better price elsewhere
Didn’t honor my Groupon and was rude
Previous service was due to flat tire in Camden, and Mr. Tire was close by. But I usually use my local mechanic.
Chose another provider
price, distance from home
Customer service
Just think about tires associated with Mr. Tire. I only need an oil change and complete that myself.
Cost
Didn't need it to now.
I felt very satisfied with my last experience with Mr. Tire. However, there is another auto service center closer to my home. So, I chose not to return.
I moved cities and did not have the need to return
I was unable to arrange a ride so I had a mobile mechanic come to my home to do the service.
I have not had the money.
no money
It was great, i get coupons for other place
They did not balance my wheels correctly
We live a bit far from the store we used.
I complete services myself that are within my scope and abilities
I didn’t think you could do the work properly. I would only use you for simple repairs or maintenance
I had the location near me do brake pads and they did not do them properly - had a loud groaning noise that my friend had to correct a month later. Couldn't trust them again for anything but tires.
I wasn't the one paying for the work, so it went where the payee decided.

The person helping me was repeatedly berated by another person working there who seemed in a bad mood. The person helping me seemed newer, and did a good job and was very helpful and friendly, but I felt uncomfortable. The other person didn't speak to me directly, just criticized his coworker in front of me.
bad service
I moved further away
Just looking for the best deals, no hard feelings, in this economy people are going to be looking for services in a decent low price
I haven’t needed tires
Don't provide the service I requires
I have decided to do my own repairs when possible to save money
Pricing
Location was less convenient than other options. Other locations seemed more affordable.
Just busy
My car sat there all day and was never serviced. I had an appt in the morning and my car was never touched.
They did a great job on installing my brand new tires and I didn’t have any problems or issue after the fact.
Lack of skilled staff and pricing
the tires seemed higher than i order the last time
nothing
Staff was very nice but tires, we found wire type stuff hanging out of them. Mr Tire said not their issue and to contact manufacturer. Manufacturer said it’s up to the tire place.
I haven’t needed any more tires. I get my oil changed closer to home.
I went to the mr tire when and where I did because it was close to my moms where I was staying at the time. Since then, when my car needed service I was staying in another town and Mr. Tire wasn't as conveniently located. Also the prices there were a little higher.
Used another chosen mechanic
other shop is closer to home
pricing and discounts for particular services.
Car pulled to the right so they did an alignment. They did not recalibrate the steering angle sensor and didn't bother to road test the vehicle and verify their work. Also, the manager constantly complained about the corporate office and call center.

I do not live close to the location anymore.
Normal retail Price and the need to set an appointment (no last minute drive-in option)
I wanted to go to the VW dealer since they specialize in VW repairs
Found a better cost/more convenient location for my needs
Moving cities and complexity of service needed.
Paid for new rotors, and they decided to slander my old rotors down and put them back on my truck. They kept the rotors I paid for
Was not a bad experience and would return! Just haven’t been over on the side of town in a while!
Location less convenient than other service options
Too expensive
I moved out of the county.
Didn't like the way employee was pressuring another customer to have work done on their vehicle,
Nothing acute, but the wait was wuite long and only one other person was at the shop. I had to ask for updtes rather than reeiving any proactively
Haven't needed services that you provide
No available discounts or discounts/coupons were not deep enough.
Was able to find a place that does oil changes cheaper
Good service
They put the wrong grade of oil, plus they did not do the tire roatation as advertised.
Not friendly
I don’t trust the people that work there. They try to get more money from me.
I think the pricing was one and how the battery I replaced ended up not being good
Since I came to Mr. Tire, I am heading this knocking noise when I turn my wheel.
I moved.
The distance from my house and the type of service was routine. I got my oil changed closer to home
Location, time and money
Time and service
Waited around for almost 7 hours for an oil change. I was told it would be 2 hours max. Then charged me almost $150 for just and oil change
FROM RELATIVE
The customer service people on location
The technician tried to sell me a battery that I did not need. When I returned home to call about the warranty, AAA came out immediately, tested it and found no issue with the battery.
They explain i needed all this work to pass inspection which didn’t actually need done. Quoted me 3,000 dollars for thing that my car didnt need to pass inspection.
Poor customer service
Husband is a mechanic
Repair was overpriced when compared to other shops
Costly
I searched for the best available price
Pricing
the price was higher than the price I pay for an Audi
Nothing specifically, but I know another locally owned shop that I am confident in
Very expensive and wait time was a bit excessive
Oil change
Your service manager told me when I had a flat that my tire was flat from the wall of the tire he wanted to charge me about 320dollars for a new tire because he couldn’t fix the flat I went to the Mr.tire and took my car to a tire shop called Dempsey they fixed my flat for 30 dollars I still have the voicemail from your service manager telling me the tire couldn’t be fixed I would never set foot in another Mr.tire and suggest to my family and friends never use your service
I typically use a friend for my male mechanic needs.
Cost, location
My car had not ran right since then. I had spark plug issues, my blower motor does not work on level 3 and 4 anymore too
I have a AAA membership.
I am happy with the service and will return when needed.
I drive a hybrid and feel more comfortable having the dealership I purchased it at service it due to the more hybrid components requiring more specialized analysis and service
They didn’t do the wheel alignment as advertised. Plus they put the wrong grade for the engine oil
Took too long and the work that I paid for was not completed properly.
I only sought out MR.TIRE be ause I specifically needed tires.
Price and rude customer service
Wrong tire was installed on my car
When I tried to call the store I reached a foreign call center. Instead of someone in the shop (2 miles from my house) answering, it was someone overseas who couldn't answer my questions. Like it doesnt make any sense to me why you would route basic calls away from the store. This was during normal business hours during the week on a non Holiday. I just needed to know if they could diagnose my non start issue if I had it it towed there. But again, the call center woman I do not think could comprehend what I was saying. It makes me sad because I loved this place and the people at the store near me are awesome. But again, if I cant call the store, why in the world would I drop my car off there.
Nothing specific. I just know someone now who owns a garage. Sometimes the prices seemed high, but I’m not sure if they actually were. I didn’t shop around.
Pricing was way to high compared to other places for tires.
Didn't have any tire related issues
Convenience
I haven't needed any tires since then.
The distance from my home was too far.
Service was good just took too long for what needed done
Merecedes annual service - not tire related.
Return
dont need new tires yet
I have not needed new tires
Nothing negative happened. I’ve gotten my recent maintenance from a Nissan dealership.
Misleading coupons
The service was beyond what Mr tire offered.
They put my tires the wrong way while doing my alignment and they did not fix it I had to go and pay someone else to fix it.
I moved
Distance from where we reside
Just been going to the dealership and buying my tires from Walmart
Didn’t need tires
My only service need was body work and I did not think you did that kind of work
Mr Tire did my Jeep tires, but I have a service plan for other Jeep needs!
I was lied to about needing an immediate break replacement. When another garage told me the opposite. So the tech at Mr tire was just trying to get money out of me
Rude people and bad service because I didn't want the extras
Dealership does free oil changes and inspections
The inability to do an alignment on my Audi due to ACC was seriously disappointing. I spent $1200 at Sam’s Club on tires for the S4 after that instead of there because I worried of the inability to work on the S4 despite the location being two blocks from my house which would have been far easier to get to and come back from. The rest of my maintenance I usually do myself.
You all don't do oil changes
Easier to get an appointment elsewhere
We have a special oil change certificate with the dealership where we bought the car, so took it there. We purchased four tires from Mr. Tire, but they do not need to be replaced at this time.
Distance
It was an emergency tire fix flat on my last visit. Nothing routinely needed.
Nothing specific
Additional unexpected cost.
Need to make time for the repair and it's really expensive.
Location is very busy
The manager was very kind and professional. Really cares about the customer.
Car is still under manufacturer warranty so routine maintenance is complimentary.
Discount coupon would be preferred.
Store closed
Someone else was paying for the service, and it needed some work beyond what is done there at Mr. Tire. Otherwise I would have happily returned. Everyone there at Mr. Tire was very pleasant and the service took about as long as I had figured it to be. I had no complaints.
I haven’t needed tires.
To my knowledge Mr tire does not do oil changes
The offer I found online was somehow to valid for what I was getting done (loophole)
I can’t bring in my own oil for oil changes. I have 5 cars so your loss.
Service took a long time
We asked for someone to check the alignment and they said it was good, but the road noise and the tire wear pattern indicated that it was super off causing me to have to replace the tires much earlier than I should have had to. That was in addition to the fact that there was no longer military discount or pricing and the cost of an oil change there was pretty close to the cost of an oil change at the dealership.
Proximity
I have a place closer to me for stuff like services and inspections. I always go to Mr. Tire for tire-related issues.
Lack of income to service vehicle.
No reason, just haven’t need service recntly
Time of service. Inspections should take no longer than 3 hours per vehicle. Shop had my car from 10am til Closing. If i wasn’t there 2 hours before closing my vehicle would not have been released til the next day.
I did a drive through oil change becuase it fit into my day that day
No longer live nearby
Not very friendly, felt that as a woman I wasn’t quoted far prices on my brakes, and found a better place to service my car where I’m not being taken advantage of or having staff be not friendly.
The price for a simple flat repair seemed high.
The price was very high compared to other locations.
Nothing. They were great.
It was okay
Groupon coupon that I used served me no use and my service ended up being more
Inconvenient length of time for service.
Not in area
I moved, and Mr Tire does not have any nearby locations.
better price at another dealer. Nothing was wrong at the Mr. Tire
Poor service and expensive service prices

Proximity.
After making an appointment I sat there for 3 hours for a simple oil change that they told me would take less than an hour. They also treated me ignorantly when I kept asking why it's taking so long. I would not recommend this place to anyone
Manager refused to accept printed out Groupon and insisted on me showing it on the app. Called police on me and tresspassed me.
It’s pretty expensive
I haven't neede tires. The locations are not very close for just an oil change.
Too expensive
Moved
I was given a bad service recommendation
The cost was higher than I could currently afford, but the service I received during my previous visit was amazing
TPM malfunction came on in my car the moment it was picked up, I reached out to the manager and he stated it was computer in the car! So, in other words they damaged a sensor! The next day the car had to be taken to get air, I spoke with manager multiple times concerning that I had to keep putting air in the tire and that the tpm malfunction was staying on and all I heard was excuses. No resolution as to why tpm malfunction light was on or why the tire was losing air. I would never bring anything back to this company, Nor would I ever refer anyone!
The technician and the office manager were incompetent and rude, and a little evil. Only at the cary location.
Took truck in with nice lug nut covers and it was as returned to me with 2 out of four covers missing. Was told by manager via way of service tech that there were only 2 wheels which had them which was a lie. Mr tire did resolve the issue but it left a bad taste in my mouth and I haven’t been back
We have moved to another city and it is not in a convenient location.
Only came for tires, no issues since
It was nothing wrong with Mr. Tire I just needed to have it serviced at Ford.
Nothing. But I have another auto shop closer with more availability.
Need some work done just haven't been able to afford it right now
I moved and there isn’t a location near me.
I had some questions for Ford dealer
Did not balance my Tesla tires properly . They didn’t know how to drive start or drive it . Did not inflate my tires like I asked them to .
Your staffing has changed. The personal service isn’t acceptable to me. It’s not about the customer, it’s about $
Dealer required maintenance.
Convenience of location
Honestly, it was the negativity of the staff member and the overall price.
I moved to another state,
They missed a huge repair that needed done that was a safety issue
I was happy with your service. However I retired and moved south.
Hard to get a timely appointment.
High staff turnover. The new guys were barely trained.

Brakes did not last long.
They could not remove the filter. The same filter they placed up there during my previous visit

Extremely long wait
I haven't needed any new work on my vehicle.

My tires have not needed service.

Family knows a place that tends to give cheaper prices
Wrong brakes put on the vehicle and tire alignment messed up
My Office was closed down and I work from home now. I used to be able to drop off my car and walk to my office.
1. I opted to go to a auto service place that was closer 2. I feel like I was upsold on a service I didn't actually need in hindsight
Price and location
I was able to find a lower price for the service that I needed from a reputable dealer that was closer and easier to schedule with.
Haven't needed to
1. There is hard-sell pressure to sell other services unrelated to the service I needed. 2. Cosmetic damage to the wheels from the tire change and the installation of the weights used to balance the wheels.
Very limited services with anything out of the ordinary outside of their expertise

Manufacturer recall needed to be done at dealer
Your customer service is terrible
Don't live in the area. Felt the oil change was not done correctly as it needed changing well in advance of the 7K mileage recommendation.
follow up issues
Little more on the expensive side
Needed a dealer to repair
More convienent at my own jib
Price was higher than expected.
I was refused service at Mr tire in Gambrills, Md on Art 3 N. I had to drive on a Mr tire tire that was losing air to the Mr tire in Annapolis on 450 for service. They were wonderful. Rest assured I will never take either of my cars to the Gambrills MD Mr tire EVER AGAIN. Additionally I related to all of my family and friend to never seek service at the Gambrills Md Mr tire as there is no customer service provided there. The woman that refused me service told me she was the manager. I really hope that was not true but I’m not going back there verify.
I just needed for tire service at that time
The price for service is essentially the same as having the service performed at the manufacturer dealership. As a result, it makes more sense to have the service performed at the dealership.
They did not fully fix the problem. They did the main replacement, but did not recalibrate the part, so it still does not work correctly.
I just preferred a different service center with quicker more professional service.
found better value
There was nothing that Mr. Tire did wrong. My previous mechanic retired and I have moved all my vehicles to a new mechanic who is closer to my home. My new mechanic is doing all of the service/maintenance now. He is close to me.
Didn’t fix the issue
I moved
The type of service was not tire or wheel related. I needed transmission service.
If it was up to me I WOULD NOT not return because of the manager lady in the front...not the African American woman. She is INCREDIBLE.
because when I bought my vehicle service was included
Regular service at dealer
Terrible Customer Service and had no clue what they were talking about.
It was ok just price was high
could not do the repair
My visit was excellent. My vehicle only needs yearly service based on time, not mileage. I got a $30 off coupon for another place. In ordinary circumstances I would come back. My work was completed professionally.

I took the car but they did not have someone who could diagnose a check engine light

Did not feel like I was given the best information for my car leading to tires being worn down fast than expected.
Inconvenience to get service
The staff is very nice and knowledgeable, great environment.
I don’t like to leave my vehicle over night. Also I asked them to do my inspection along with tires and when I came to pick up they said they didn’t do it because I would fail for a cracked headlight. I have had it inspected two year since that and no one mentioned it.
I paid for a new tire and balance (and I believe an alignment) and I still felt it drove bad and pulled to the right.
Proximity to house
I became unemployed.
How to plug my tire cost over $50 which was freaking insane
Numerous things within the company
I will be returning. Staff was wonderful. Great prices.
I haven’t needed to replace any more tires
Service wait time too long
The store felt dingy, and has had many problems with staffing. It was closed last time I tried to take me car in for service, as employees did not show up to work.
Competitor ran a sales promo.
I found out you put the wrong size tires on my vehicle.
The turn over rate of employees
I moved further away
Had to go to dealer to use points accrued!
I waited 3 hours for them to tell me what was wrong with my vehicle and that I would not be able to take it home with me that day.
I will be going back to Mr.Tire this week, I just have not been able to find the time to go.
I needed a tailpipe/muffler and the wrong tailpipe was installed. This created a rattling against the chassis. I brought it back several times with only the noise returning within minutes of driving. I was told too basically deal with it until it’s time to replace it again. I left and never returned.
We have a neighbor that works on cars. He charges very little.
Just seems overly priced
Wait time and price
Not sure
I moved to NC. I have searched out Mr. Tire and Monroe, but there is nothing in this area.
It was hard for me to drop off. The place I went to had a rental.
I spent over $4,000.00 for one vehicle, and within months the work that was done on my vehicle already started to need to be repaired again.
too expsenive
It's a long story but essentially my car wasn't fixed. I took it back and was told to take it to a friend of the manger to get the transmission looked at. My car was never fixed. I never got a refund and eventually ended up taking it to a neighborhood garage where it was repaired the right way. I will never go to Mr. Tire again.
Service was bad getting an oil change. Told one price ,paid another
Because the repairs that they said I needed were not needed. I took the list from Mr. Tire to another mechanic, and the majority of the repairs and service the Mr. Tire recommended were not needed. This, in my opinion, is fraud perpetuated by Mr. Tire.
Mr. Tire technicians were full
I have my mechanic to do my job done
Bad customer service. Since I didn’t get an expensive repair recommended on a prior visit which I felt was not worth spending on a old car, the attitude was bad on the next visit, he wasn’t even willing to look at the car without me paying for it. I genuinely wanted to get the car fixed, but the bad behavior made me not return again.
The guys were playing and standing around talking
I go there for tire needs. Haven’t had tire needs since then.
Dealer preference regarding oil changes
Very expensive work,
price
I had brought my van in for inspection to a different location because the one I usually visit had no state inspector. the inspector came out and told me I lived in Cumberland county which requires emmissions. I did not live in Cumberland I lived in Franklin county. This resulted in a verbal altercation with him demanding I prove it, before I had a chance to do so and my boyfriend ask him why he was talking to me like that, which escalated the altercation further So I paid for my inspection which I did not get and left. I will not return.

I make an appointment but still wait for hours for service to begin. Once service begins, I still wait for more hours.
I had no issue with Mr. Tire with my last experience. I just have the Lifetime Oil Package with Subaru so I get my oil changed at Subaru and when it lines up with my need for inspection, I just get it done there instead. When I don't need my oil changed and just an inspection, Mr. Tire is great and more convenient.
Price and wait times
I haven't had any tire issues or needed new tires.
The manager was rude
An oil change for a 2023 Hyundai Tuscan was 200 dollars at least that’s what the service provider said
When there they wanted all of this extra work and my family has a mechanic that didn’t agree with their recommendation
I have always trusted that company to do a great job.
It felt like the last two times, I was targeted for some sales gimmick. Both times I had a mechanic tell me that there was a tac stuck in my tire and it could not be patched and I needed to get a new tire. It was weird because the tires were practically new and didn’t have a tac in them prior to arriving to the shop.
Typically proximity to my area.
No complaints about the service. I found a mechanic that is more convenient geographically and I have been happy with the service and costs.
Location
Lack of completing the service properly and the amount of time it took them to complete the services
Shop crossthread lug nut on brake job, requiring whole stud to be replaced.
Too expensive, the work was ok, and it took all day.
Joe the manager. I bought 4 tires from Goodyear. I chose Mr. Tire to install. It was done on a Sunday. Slowly but surely the TPM lights went on. We'll the new TPM'S that were part of my purchase were never put on. Jow each time wanted to charge me 40 bucks in case I had a nail. I tried to explain, I finally gave up. I never went back nor will I.
I moved to Nevada
felt like we paid too much, and do not feel the work is as quality as others... also lots of nickel and dime charges outside of any coupons, so the coupons don't seem to matter much
no reason, the service needed was something I could do myself (change wiper blades), so I did it myself.
Nothing happened, it has just been more convenient to go elsewhere.
My last visit was a positive one. I only chose a different service center due to having a product (tires) under warranty there that I had an issue with.
Nothing needed outside of New engine
You couldnt get the tire that was needed for my car in a timely manner
Sale price on oil change at Meinike
No factors other than location
I moved from Maryland to South Carolina and have not seen a Mr. Tire here.
They charged me for insurance on my tires without telling me about it
Being able to get in
Moved to Baltimore suburbs of Elkridge.
was sold things I did not want such as extended warranty
More promotion offers from a competitor
Terrible service. The mechanics were unprofessional and clearly not well trained. They were touching other parts of my car that they were not supposed to be touching. After I complained to the front desk, I found out that there is a high turnover of mechanics.
I was told my tie rods needed replaced and I got quoted $1500 on a 2007 Honda. I took it down and it turns out my tie rods were perfectly fine and that it was actually my struts that needed replaced. They did that for less than $500
Type of svc needed

Reasons indicated below.
I was told my NY inspection would pass if I replaced a light. After authorizing the work and waiting, I was then told it failed. I was given instructions on how to resolve and after multiple return visits the issue was not resolved. I had to go to the dealer for it to be resolved in less than an hour.
Nothing specifically to do with Monro - I moved to a new state and just had much closer alternatives for what I specifically needed done that didn't necessarily warrant driving to the nearest Monro location.
It’s location, price, and staff courtesy.
Your price for a new battery was ridiculous ... I was like Frack you!!!
Difficulty scheduling visits due to lack of staff
I was actually just there about a week ago getting my tail light replaced, and they informed me of a few other issues with my car I had taken care of as well
I waited an extremely long time and was then informed that it was going to cost almost double the original quote.
Nothing in particular
1. Monro's cookie-cutter price it charges for service regardless of the vehicle is insane. Charging $1000 for a tune up is understandable for the more labor-intensive cars of today; charging $1000 for a far less labor-intensive 20-30 year old vehicles is not. 2. Your employees are overworked and tired. Take better care of your employees. If you don't treat them right, it makes one wonder how Monro really treats their customers and the quality of service they get from worn-out Monro employees.
Not local
Went in for an oil change and was charged significantly more than I expected. Supposedly was due to stripped bolts from previous mechanic, but not clearly reflected in the bill.
I needed a new CV boot and the shop that replaced my front axles replaced it along with my front axle which were under warranty. I just had to pay labor as they replaced the CV boot and the front axle.
I booked an appointment, went to the appointment to get a tire repaired, was subsequently told to go to another facility because the technician that owned the tool needed to repair my tire vavle was not in shop
the "new" salesman was very closed about options for how to meet my need - that I must purchase the $25 item through Monro for well over $150, and when he did waive that requirement to do me a "favor" as a long-standing customer, he then said he'd charge me $125 for his person to install the device (which takes less than an hour to do). I miss Jimmy, he always took care of me, never over charged me, and had great advice when he wasn't able to serve me.
I had a bad experience for Oil change. They had forgotten to close the lid of the oil box.
I needed one headlight replaced and Monro did that for me very well. I haven't needed any other light replaced yet.

A simple oil change was all I needed
I used a coupon for an oil change and have looked for more coupons but just haven’t found one so I haven’t returned. But the oil change I got went really well and I was happy with it.
Nothing of note. I came to Monro for a specific service (brake service). I have yet to require that service again.
Expensive service
I needed the service immediately and my local Monroe did not have any appointments available.
I was deniced service
Poor service
Broke a wheel stud and bent the brake dust shield that rubbed on my rotor
Moved to new home that was farther away from the Monro I had gone to
I went for an oil change. They did not tighten cap and oil spilled all over engine and hood of car. I was still charged full for service. They re filled after I took it again and I did not receive an apology, just excuses.
My check engine light was on. The shop told me it was my valve cover gaskets and charged me $1230.31 to fix it. Kept my car for three days while doing a repair that was booked for 4 hours. 10 minutes after picking up the car, the check engine line came on and took to a real mechanic. Turns out it was an O2 sensor and was fixed in one hour for less than $200.
no need at this time
A radiator fan was installed incorrectly. I questioned why it would randomly start running. I was told that that was normal. The car started overheating. I took it to another repair shop. The repair shop inform me that the fan was not working and whoever installed did so incorrectly causing further damage to the vehicle. The other repair shop stated they were unable to fix it and that I needed to take it to the Ford dealer. The Ford dealer stated the same thing. The repair shop stated that the fan was installed incorrectly and had caused further damage to the vehicle. The Ford dealer was able to fix it. I return to the Monroe shop where the original work was done. Everyone who had worked at the shop was let go and there was a including the manager. New manager would not reimburse me for the damage to my car. I had no plans of using Monroe in the future for repairs. Furthermore, I do not want your Amazon gift card..
my first and last visit - had my car for 2 days allegedly was having trouble removing some part - which it was not in for and still had issues with car after I got it back - found a more reliable mechanic and when I went for inspection found the bolts for the replacement of the wheel bearing hubs were loose - took it back several times to complain about a noise in the rearend but always I don't hear anything guess what had these bolts come off I would have been either seriously injured or killed. the damage done by not doing the job correctly the first time resulted in a control arm needing replaced - they replaced the wheel bearing hubs at no cost but not the control arm
I moved to another county
Very quickly and well done
convenience
Wait time
The new receptionist said my vehicle was too difficult to work on and to take it to a dealer.
I was able to get an appointment at the dealership where I usually go, when I wanted it done.
They lied saying my car needed a new part. I got a 2nd opinion and I didn’t need it
Hours/location were less convenient for my more recent services than other stores
The manager was abrupt and rude to me.
Over priced
Service needed you do not provide
They didn't properly tighten the lug nuts on my daughter's tires and she nearly lost her tires going 70 on the highway.she could've gotten in an accident and died.
The one in town was horrible. And auburn is too far
I was given wrong advice about a problem I had with my car. Also my tires had dry rot and no one ever told me.
Moved to a different county
i had a groupon for my truck but they upcharge me for better oil which i didnt what , i whated ,what the groupon was for , and they didnt rotate my tires , i had to go back and tell them do it, they are very pushy
Nothing particular
In my opinion, the Monro Auto Service facility that performed work on my vehicle was not professional and overpriced.
decided to perform matinance my self to save some money
Moved across town
Needed to go to the dealership for recall work
The woman at the front desk was very unprofessional. The quality service at this location has declined. It used to be very good – when the current staff/manager left, things went downhill.
Expense of repairs needed.
My son is a mechanic so he services my vehicle at my house. He cannot do tires which is the reason I went to Monro
It was awful they had my car there for hours trying to Jimmy something and then had to go about and do it properly and then wanted to charge me for their wrong direction
Wanted to charge to fix nail in tire even though tires were purchased from you

Not a monro near me, unfortunately
Only service I have had is new tires and they were cheaper at Walmart and oil changes are cheaper at dealer as they had a special to buy so many at one price
I had a high Mile tune up service. A few weeks later I noticed they didn’t put a cap back on. Luckily it was sitting in the engine. Also, they didn’t tighten the break fluid line and it leaked out. The cost was very high.
Absolutely nothing personal, we've just had a much closer mechanic we've used for years.
Very difficult to make an appt
I moved to another state
Service took a while to get done
Well I had returned for brake issues more than one time and I saw quite a bit of dysfunction between the front desk and the shop employees.
There was nothing.
Brought in for inspection with an appointment but after a few hours had to leave and come back the next day.
The length of time it took to get serviced
I just needed an oil change, and it was cheaper to go elsewhere
The service was great we just found a new place that was closer to us
Monroe is still my Number 1 for repairs. Needed a quick oil change and did go to a company that only does quick oil changes once otherwise I had no other service done on the car and will be going to Monroe for my next vehicle service including oil change.
recent hospitalization.
Quality of Service at other businesses
I haven’t needed service from them. Nothing they did
The cost for was way too high for getting autzone parts cheaper than I can get them and marking them up ridiculous. Wait times to do projects were way too long for having a lift and better tools than I would have doing it myself... multiple service jobs were wrong or wrong part installed... then to get things fixed and right cost me more time and aggravation. The workers that were good there are gone and replaced with kids of poor work value and or pride. List goes on....
Price was to high.
It’s just too far away
Time, I waited and waited and waited and I had an appointment!
Poor quality of work from a mechanic. The manger Chris was able to correct the situation, to the point that I did return.
Nothing related to Monro, I changed job locations and no longer worked in Saginaw. It was not feasible to drive 45 mins for car maintenance.
to expensive
I had a flat tire they couldn’t repair it and they refused to put the spare on. So I had to go to Walmart and have them put my spare on.

I feel that I didn't receive the best service

I love Monro but there is a closer place I take my vehicle for oil changes
moved out of area
coupons for reasonably priced oil change have been almost non-existent. found more competitive price & quicker service closer to where I live.
Was not happy that my appointment for an inspection was not allowed due to short staff.
Scheduled a state inspection online and was told the person who does inspections wasn't there when we showed up
Just trying to keep it local really
Service hours and ability of having a mechanic on site
Nothing in particular happened. I stopped in for a tire repair. I've had tires replaced with you before so though I'd get a fair price/repair
Price increases, reminding service personnel to complete tasks that are included in package such as rotating tires or putting air in tires, ect.

Nothing in particular, just that I have been going to my usual Mechanic. I go to Monro when my usual mechanic doesn't have quick availability
It took around 4 hours to get my brakes done. Staff were very friendly and likeable, but there was a lot of discussion about roadside clients that didn't tip, which made me uncomfortable. I may have taken it wrong, but I felt pressured to tip, which I did not do.
My experience was good in general.
Wondered if repair should have been under manufacturers warranty.

Monro is not near where I live. I had a Groupon the one time I went to Monro.
location I had free towing for three miles so I went to a shop in my town

Warranty work- took it to the dealer
I went there for an inspection got charged $50 waited a whole hour all for them to tell me that it didn’t pass inspection because I had a frame on my license plate. The frame was not covering anything. I was told that I would have to bring it back another time but was still charged.
the tech left a device on my vehicle wheel that was adjusting the alignment and took off with it still attached, making it fly off into the parking lot and on the pavement. not sure if it damaged my vehicle, but was enough to warrant me never to return to this organization - very dissatisfied
nothing really, I just always go to the dealership for maintainence as it's right across the street from my job so I don't miss any time
Chris ( previous manager at southbridge MA) made a huge mistake that cost me and monro did not take accountability for it. I’ve made a claim and called numerous times but told someone will contact me. Until someone reaches out I will not bring any of my vehicles nor anyone I speak to, to proceed Monro.
Nothing
Did work ourselves
I am going to return
After spending over $2k on new tires and breaks. Returned for an alignment which was not recommended in the beginning. After the alignment my car was not driving straight. Brought it back to mavis 4 times in two days. After the manager telling me that they cannot do anything for me. I’ve called corporate and have not heard back. I’m very disappointed. My car is NOT safe to be driving especially with my children in it. This is a safety concern and I am very disappointed. I would appreciate a call from corporate. Will never recommend mavis
The technician was confused as to which tires to replace.
I now get free service from the dealer
Haven't needed emergency repairs

The service quality and customer service is great at Monro :) I have just personally decided to do my business elsewhere solely due to the pricing of services at Monro

he salesperson was quite rude with my son who was getting an oil change for the first time. He didn't even want to honor the coupon he had.
Tech did not know what he was doing. Extremely lacking in his customer service skills. I will never do business with Munro again.
Inflated invoice. Inspection estimate included repairs that were NOT needed. Estimate of over $1300. I paid for my oil change and inspection, drove 3 miles down the road and got a passing inspection with none of the "required repairs" noted. Monroe saw a female come in and tried to take advantage of me. I'm an intelligent adult who will not return
Sitting in the waiting room for 3 hrs for an oil change and inspection.
Done wrong and had to return to get it right
Moved out of town

I tend to go to the dealership, and will use Monro when I need to get an oil change and I can't get into the dealership

I have not made a decision to not return, I have only done oil changes and tire rotations since, at which I had a maintenance plan at the dealership which just ended this month! I will be returning

Not great service. Especially since the sensors on my tires haven’t worked since I had them done there….

Complete transparency pricing was not up front/posted available online for oil change options.
The service was good but they were trying to sell me things I did not need
Your mechanic did not put the key for the wheel lock back in my car after rotating the tires. As a result I had to pay to have my car towed to the dealership and pay for a new key. I was not happy!!!
Very bad experience. I gave a very bad review. The regional manager contacted me and said he agreed that I had a problem. Was going to refund the amount I paid and get back to me but never did.
Monro damaged the car during service and was not willing to repair
The diagnosis they provided was in correct and seemed a bit odd.
Coupon was deceptive Price for oil change advertised did not include disposal
The charged for service and did not fix the problem. Behavior was unprofessional. Tried to sell me a battery I did not need.
Scheduled online and when I showed up it was as if I was an inconvenience to the worker
The mechanic dropped brake fluid onto my car's headlight and eroded the headlight plastic cover.
Having too wait too long for a quick service
My car had been in an accident and I was unable to drive it for several months in the past year.
Location. I dropped it off at the place closest to where inwork
I made an appointment in advance. When I showed up for the appointment on time, despite poor road conditions due to snowy weather, the manager said the mechanic that handled the tpye of service I needed had called in sick and no one else was available.
I used a Groupon but still had to pay a decent amount on top of the Groupon price

I had a bad experience for oil change. After I take my car out, I felt the oil smell inside the car and another day I had to drive back to the service. On checking further, they found that they did not fit the cap of the oil container.
I’m searching for my forever garage, and my next few issues I had gone to Firestone for ease of scheduling. I kept going back to them hoping they’d feel bad that I’ve spent so much money there and maybe work a deal with me :(
I came to you for new tires, but not for my most recent oil change. Monro doesn't have the codes to my BMW to reset service interval warnings.
Price and speed
I no longer live in that area

My husband chose a different shop.
I had a deal on an oil change/tire rotation special through a 3rd party. I can't remember the name of 3rd party but they offer deals on lodging, restaurants, etcetera. Anyway, the manager said he couldn't do it for the price. I had Monro complete the service but it cost me $20 more than I expected.
Amount of work I needed
The oil change was too expensive
It was near my old job but now I don’t have the same job
I needed to go someplace closer that offered a rental for a day.
Dishonest technician , gave false information on the work and type of service needed.

When they replaced the rear brakes per my request, they broke the wheel speed sensor and made no attempt to repair it or offer any explanation other than to say, "you don't need it anyway."
The online scheduler shows times that staff aren't there yet. I stay with my car, so I want to know if anyone is there to work on it.

Nothing influenced it. Only time I called after my visit was for an oil change and they said they were booked for a few days so I ended up going to my dealer instead.

Brakes were not installed correctly
The staff come across as inexperienced and did not make good on their promise to fix my TPMS sensor. This location has unfortunately gone to shambles compared to when Heather was managing it.
Price , value honesty
I have been taking my vehicle to a local service station for my NYS inspection. It's only a few miles away, and I can get an appointment pretty quickly.
I had a grinding in one of my wheels… I purchased new brakes because that’s what they told me the problem was you guys … grinding was still going on after the new brakes … then said I needed new calipers
Monroe has repeatedly lied about things my car needs. For example - a filter was replaced before taking in car and Monroe told me I needed to replace it......that's dishonest.

Location
It was'nt my last visit. It was a VERY conveniant location. We went there for more than a decade and have maintain half a dozen cars simultaneously. However on one visit the manager was so INCREDIBLY rude we began to get service elsewhere.
I had great experiences at Monro. The only reason I went somewhere else this time is because I got a coupon for a free inspection at a dealership
I had made an apt online for opening time. When I arrived at my scheduled apt time the older man who seems to run the place at the time seemed very aggravated. He said he didn't have time he had three other cars. I had my toddler and explained I made an apt online and he huffed and puffed and took my car in. He then came out demanding to know who did my last oil change because the oil cap was stuck. I said it was this establishment he walked away. He was not emotionally regulated and quite frankly made me feel like a huge bother. I also see his point about the system allowing more appointments even if he can't take them all. So that should probably be fixed
Nothing significant happened.
I felt I was overcharged.
Clerks/techs were wishy washy about pricing, took forever to do everything, and were playing a trial on the TV about a kid murdering his parents in graphic detail in the waiting room.
Price was no longer much better than elsewhere and the workmanship was not as good as it used to be.

Filthy store. 18 year old kids that don’t care to work on my car? Came in for tire rotation, among other things. They didn’t do it. Had to go back on rack and wait. The bottom of the barrel.
I received a highly inflated estimate of over $400 for a repair. I purchased the required component online for $25 and installed it myself in less than one hour.
They didn't have anyone to do the work.
I don’t work in that town anymore.
I asked for tire adjustments and they made my car worse. When I came back to complain, they told me that it was my fault -- that they did the job right but I needed all new tires. I took my car to another shop where they adjusted the tires and they've been fine since. The Monro I went to tried to bilk me. They got me once, but I will not be going back.

I brought my vehicle in a little over a week ago for tire rotation, balance, alignment. Also asked for them to do their complimentary brake/rotor check. I was shown some color swatches indicating my brakes are in the "orange" range, meaning my brakes&rotors are close to needing replacement. They gave me this outrageous estimate that'd cost me $1000! I immediately declined their services for that. So my vehicle gets aligned, etc. I didn't notice anything right away but the next day I could tell something was off about my alignment when my vehicle veered left. I kept thinking it mightve been the road(s) I was driving, but I kept testing my vehicle on flat surfaces when I could find one and it still veered left. I was mad. I spent $130 for this alignment and now I had to make time after work when I had time to get my alignment done again. Sure enough the mechanic who worked on my vehicle this second time did tell me the alignment was off slightly both on the left & right.
Customer experience wasn’t the best
location convenience.
I wanted to stay local since I'm not in the area
It's been only needing oil changes and decided to go with a drive thru oil change for convenience.
the price for a basic oil change is too high
They poured oil into my alternator so I had to go to another mechanic place and get a new alternator and a new battery. It all could’ve been avoided if whoever gave my car an oil change would’ve been honest with me told me what happens and then fixed it but they told me that I needed to spend $700 to get something replaced that wasn’t necessary and they never told me that they spilled oil on my alternator making my car messed up.
Needed to go somewhere I can trust to tell me only what I need and not try to sell me what I don’t need.
My Monro had no availability for two weeks.
Car failed state inspection and is being fixed
The location is a little far from my home. I have to wait there, in the waiting area, or cross a real busy intersection to a nearby Starbuck's.
Counter person tried to scam me into paying more and quality of service was subpar.
Mechanic told me that I needed repairs that did not need to be done after inspection from another mechanic.
Prices really skyrocketed about 5 years ago
Couldn’t get someone in to do my oil change even with an online appointment
The amount of time it took
Further away from where I live and in and trying to get appointment.
The car has a dealership warranty and has been serviced at the dealership
I had an awful experience at the Bay Rd location. Lied to and scammed me. Gratiot Rd has tried to fix their mistakes but they can’t seem to figure it out either. I’ve brought my car in 10+ times
I was quoted a high price for a repair, and when I expressed as much I was pressured to feel that my car was unsafe if I did not do the repair with them instead. I did not do it with them and left instead.
Their was a playpen in the middle of the waiting area
Returned to my mechanic closer to home
I thought the service guy was rude
I live very close to another auto service which is more convenient for me and they are friends who let me make payments.
The price was high
It took over 2 days to complete and it was pricey.
NA
Most recent service I needed was cheaper elsewhere.
It felt like I was being up sold on other issues and not just the issue at hand. I do not have the money for everything
Nothing changed
Cost higher than competitors and lack of professionalism. Oil cap wasn't put on properly and oil leaked out all over my driveway.
I don't believe that the Monro staff had the expertise to perform the service my vehicle requires, which is the detection and repair of an oil leak.
Good quality services, fast service and fair price.
Haven't needed another service yet
see below. Price was only consideration. I've been happy with your service and treatment.
Felt pressured into paying for extra services for my vehicle and service overall took longer than anticipated
Other place cheaper
Prices
Went to the dealer for maintenance. More convenient.
"Mechanic" installed brakes incorrectly and could not fix issue when returned. I had to go to dealership to fix their brake job.
I have to change only tire rotation, but after they done tire rotation, they start check engine without asking. That day I wanted to do only tire rotation not check engine.
I made an online appointment for inspection on a Sunday morning, because it was my only day off. I went in and was told they do not do inspection on Sundays and they tried to call. I looked and they did try calling when I was on my way to the appointment and they didn’t leave a message for me to know why they were calling anyway.
I like Valvoline better
None, it was a great service
Scheduling sometimes difficult, too busy to schedule during times I may be available
price, location
Time constraint
nothing negative, just haven't.
Prices are too high
Equivalent coupon for oil change at the dealer. They give me a video and price on everything they suggest working on. Then I bring it elsewhere for repairs for half the money.
My decision was based purely on cost and trust in recommendations
1. I have found better pricing elsewhere. 2. When i was told i needed 2 new tires to pass inspection, i was told i had to purchase 4, which made no sense to me, so i went elsewhere.
Your website coupons are confusing and they are no their as much as they used. It would be good to see available times without putting all your information.
To expensive, they charged me just to inspect the car and see what’s wrong
The original shop owner, Jimmy, left to another shop. He made it feel like a mom and pop shop.
I found another service within closer walking distance so I could leave my car.
I normally go but I was shopping around at the time as I wasn’t able to get an appointment in time at this location in time for a trip I had coming up so I went with another local business.
Waiting too long
Pricing
Long wait time
Too expensive
They screwed up by not getting the authorization they were supposed to from Hertz so my niece had to keep her rental car another day before she could drive 300 miles down to Connecticut and it cost her hundreds of dollars and the person who was supposed to get the authorization lied.
I have gone to Monro for many years and been satisfied. However, I went in a couple of weeks ago as I has called to make an appointment and when I got there at my appt time, they could not service my car because there was nobody working but the manager. The appointment was scheduled by the call service. It was a complete waste of my time and was a big inconvenience.
Just location. The service I received at Monroe was excellent
Cost
When i went there and had brake pad changed, they said they have the parts, until i went there and said parts aren't available and have to wait for few days. My SUV was there for 2 days while waiting for other parts
Nothing
Convenience of location
It was great
They wouldn't take a walk in for a car inspection.
Guy was rude. I had to wait over an hour longer than time I was given.
no bad feelings, other places more convenient and able to help with more mechanical problems.
I have always went to monro
Started using the Monro closer to my home since staff turnover resulted in noticeable improvements.
Busy
Service always great!! Marvin always excellent!!
Location
I chose to go elsewhere.
The pricing is not competitive with other local shops.
Staff at the counter was an Ass.
just a sloppiness in the experience. And a little surprise on pricing
I moved out of the area
Took a long time
The person at the desk would get mad because i made the appointment on the website and didn't call
Price
Moved jobs and another brand closer
Cost
After I had my oil change I developed an oil leak that I didn’t have before the oil change.
It was maintenance. I was able to perform myself.
I like Monroe. Unfortunately I was turned away for my oil change, I was told Monroe does not carry the 16w oil my suv required. On a different occasion I overheard the mechanics, discussing ways the could up charge another client for work he didn’t really need. I refused to return back to that location. It lacked integrity & made me lose trust.
Had to get it done fast and went to the most convenient place I could find that could fit me in immediately
Speed of service
The staff were less than desirable. The wait was ridiculous.
Went closer to my job
Dirty waiting room, attitude like I was bother them
Price and location
I was given a quote and the bill was significantly higher because one of the parts wasn’t added on for the quote. I had to use financing in order to pay for it.
The cost of oil change was greatly increased and the next day I received email for same service for more than $50 less. I felt like I was taken advantage of at the price I paid.
When calling, it will go to a remote receptionist first and the remote receptionist doesn't have many knowledge about car.
Last service was a warranty issue that was honored but we had changed to a new mechanic in our area
My financial situation
Working near a different location
Prices are higher in every facet of our lives... with synthetic oil the price of an oil change has quintupled over that last 15 or 20 years...what was once cheap routine maintenance has now become something I have to budget for...and many things win over oil changes and brakes...
COST
Nothing. I am able to use a family discount at a local dealership
I had an alignment done incorrectly. I don’t think the person doing the work knew what they were doing, and my vehicle felt very funny after the alignment. I ended up taking it to the dealership to have the alignment redone. I also requested a refund from Monro. A very frustrating experience that was an inconvenience and also left me with a vehicle that felt unsafe to drive.
I have been busy and spending time in NH.
Price. The cost of service at Monro has exceeded my current budget.
The cost
No particular reason. I needed an oil change and went to a dealer by my house
I went to another shop that was less busy.
personnel changes and lack of technicians
Moved out of town
I haven't needed much work on my car, usually just inspections
Had an oil change and oil was spilled all over engine. Sloppy job. Odor was brought into car interior. First time since we bought car in 2005.
Too long a wait and setting up an appointment was worth Less
Lower priced oil change
Location and having to make an appointment
Scheduling conflicts
Customer service
Discovered that the service at the dealership was worth the minor inconvenience of location.
Overpriced. My previous tire installation was not done correctly and led to my tired being worn out earlier.
Have not required the services that you provide
Moved
The tech did not complete my service so I had to return the next day, went the next day and the store was not open on time turns out the mgr quit lost time at work two days
Found a service center closer to home.
They next called to inform me the work could not be done or when my truck was ready to be picked up
You charge for tire mounting and Townfair Tire doesn't
My vehicle sat there for 3 weeks, and never got fixed, They location said the mechanic that was supposed to work on it, was promoted and they didn’t have anyone else to do it.
Incorrect diagnosis and over pricing
Made online appointment for state inspection only to be informed no one to do it on arrival
Cost
They rebooked me more than once and so I just found it more convenient to go elsewhere
A promised coupon
The day prior to my appointment, Monro changed the compensation for their employees so most of the employees walked (including all the experienced ones) I ended up having a prolonged wait the day of my appointment and they didn't even bother placing an oil change reminder sticker on the windshield.
the monro location close to me closed. other locations are further away
Twice in a row I was told there were no actual mechanics on staff so anything beyond an oil change they couldnt do.
Horrible will never come back Years ago, you had a wonderful team of employees they serviced all four my cars The last time they were all gone the new crew did not merit being in that industry the old crew, led by Brandon. It was excellent the new crew took more than an hour to change a single tire!!!! in all my years, I have never seen such incompetence
Guy took me for a ride, taking advantage of my ignorance.
Went to dealership because they had a special.
been using other places closer
I went to Monroe for a specific service and they did a good job. However, I have a regular mechanic that I use for most issues.
Flat tire and I was closer to another tire shop
Other business do not require appointment for inspection.
Was told you would no longer change my oil if I brought my own oil and filter.
Too expensive. Saw an oil change coupon for $40 and ended up paying $109
Price
I was told the car would be done the next day which turned into 2 weeks later still not done.
Lost trust in them.
The person behind the desk was pretty rude and opinionated regarding national issues. All of us customers felt a little n uneasy as he would not stop talking.
The folks at Monro overcharged me for a brake job that was also done improperly. I know this because a few days after getting this done, the caliper on the rear driver side tire disconnected while we were driving on the Thruway and my brakes would not function properly. After being able to stop the car and park it safely, I had to have the car towed to the deal and spend even more money to have the something fixed that never should have been an issue. Because of the poor work done at Monro, which I can prove because I still have the caliper, and their response to me when I attempted to seek restitution, along with the fact that this put the safety of me and my family in jeopardy, I will NEVER return to any Monro location.
Price
Location and pricing.
I was told that I would need brakes at the next inspection. It's been at least 2 years and I STILL do not need brakes.
Needed services Monro doesn't provide.
Too far away.

It was so convenient
Convenient locatioon
The last time I brought my car to Monro it was for an inspection. I was told my car would not pass inspection because the brakes needed to be replaced. I had my stepdad replace them and brought my car back the next day. Unfortunately, I believe the manager was trying to take advantage as he continued telling me additional repairs were needed in order to pass the inspection.
Large increase in cost associated with the work
Found a local company for my auto repairs.
I got a Groupon for valvoline that saved me money.
$
Communication and scheduling
Proximity to my home
I made an appt through the call center. Told them I would need a part ordered. Went to my appt the next day, it was booked at a different time and the mechanic said a part would need to be ordered. He said he would call around and then call me back when he had it. 2 days go by, called again, they said they’d call for the part and call me back. They never called me back and I ended up going to Pep Boys.
Not my normal go to place for service (and I moved)
Just convenience, another garage is closer
Not fixing issues correctly
I thought the franchise closed
Timing
moved
Lack of price transparency and my engine overheated after getting a routine oil change at Monro.
I know probably an insurance issue, but my car desperately needed an oil change and reverse wouldn’t work sometimes (drive was fine). Manager would not pull it in to bay in case he had to push it out. BUT…did he call to tell me this? NO! I come back before closing to pick up the car when he informs me he didn’t want the car to be pushed out of a bay. Fine, I get it, but how about a courtesy call? CJ Tire said they had no issue pushing car and got my business.
Service plan with dealership
The "new" manager was rude and arrogant. He gave misinformation about synthetic oil for my car and the price was ridiculous compared to other places here in town.
Went in for an oil change. Said I added break pads. Got a second opinion who said they were good.
Short mechanics
Honestly, everyone was nice and I felt the prices were fair, but it took so long. There were many of us waiting and it was much longer than we were originally told. Plus, there's not really a comfortable place to sit. It's small and cramped in the lobby.
I moved
nothing specific, location and convience
I choose small business
Cost and chain business
Staff ignored me to take care of of a confused fleet customer, as a tech who could have serviced my car sat around doing nothing. After 20 minutes of this I left.
There was a manager there Kevin for years and the staff was great, service was great but when Kevin left it was not the same service. I did not like how I was treated when tried to make an appointment with new manager , it was difficult . i had been a Monroe customer for years
Moved elsewhere
I was needing a repair and called Monro before taking it there to make sure I would get it back in time as I needed the vehicle for my daughter’s appt that week. I was promised it would be done and it was not. I called days later and still was not touched. Horrible customer service.
Service wasn’t finished at the time promised
EVERY TIME I have gone there they say something else is wrong with the vehicle besides the reason it was brought there. Went for an oil change they say something is wrong with the brakes even though they were just replaced all the way around 3 days prior...the prices are very high and quality of work isn't the best.
I ended up taking the vehicle to Tesla Service as they are more specialized in working on Tesla vehicles
I don’t live near anymore
Volvo locked the back wheels so work had to be done with them
I haven't brought it anywhere yet.
Not enjoyable
Distance from my house.
Otro lugar ofrecen lavado gratis luego de un cambio de aceite
I moved to a place and Monro isn’t as close to me as it was before
Needed more repair within 1 year or repairs performed.
Check engine light was on, needed a full service garage.
Recommendations for added products and services I did not need.
I moved and was no longer conveniently located near Monro
Several bad experiences. Monro staff tried to upsell me on services that my vehicle did not need. At an earlier experience, Monro staff were unable to provide an alignment after saying that they could.
Dishonest and excessive pricing.
I ordered a tire and was charged over $600 because of "shipping" (from across the river) when I complained that local competitors offered the same tire for $300 less I was advised to send a complaint to headquarters or something. Never heard back, no one took ownership at the store (I had been a loyal customer) and I felt betrayed. It's been a couple years since it happened and I won't go back, I don't want a gift card, but you should know.
I brought it in for an oil change. Upon driving it the next day had to have it towed because it said it was out of oil and i got all the warnings on the dash to pull over and stop driving. While i was in not greatest lart of town. Then had it towed there and they got oil all over the engine so it smoked and stunk my car up and made a mess of the engine bay. It was literally brand new to me.
the decision was based on a warranty I had on the car with the manufacturer. I was burning oil at a rapid rate and Hyundai needed to get involved since I may still need a new engine and its under warranty,
Overcharged and problem wasn’t solved
Got a better deal
They told me the battery needed to be replaced and it was fine
Nothing was wrong with the experience. Just decided to do the work on our own
Service took too long and was expensive
